About the exhibition

The Manitoba Craft Council began a partnership with the Manitoba Neuroscience Network in 2014 to facilitate the exchange between craft artists and neuroscience researchers. Neurocraft is an exhibition, curated by Seema Goel, featuring nine artists collaborating with neuroscientists to create works of art inspired by the brain.

The curator

Seema Goel has a background in visual arts/craft and sciences, and currently holds the position of artist-in-residence at the Faculty of Science, University of Manitoba.
