ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

The series "De Nuit" is inspired by photo-documentary approach of the New Topographics movement and the Misson Héliographique (/Plex III, Architecture Municipale II/).

This selection of 12 nocturnal portraits of buildings in Montreal is a partial inventory of urban architecture. Transformed by night, these mundane structures come alive a night and reveal their dramatic geometry. Illuminated by ordinary street lights, they become theatrical settings of Montreal's silent night life.
