WORLDBOOK
We are all connected, dependant and relevant. Worldbook is an observation of relationships, in a scant world where cause and consequence matter, a world of change. This world does not belong to us, we belong to it.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Drawing allows me to explore and experiment, it is a tool to reflect on and understand the world around me, and through it I gain perspective and hopefully, share perspective.
I work through my drawings to feel; I want to study and contemplate the effects we have on our surroundings, relationships, cause and consequence. Effect involves me, unpredictable, chain reactions, relations, scale, reflections.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sigrún Jenny Bardadóttir was born in Iceland and is currently based in Montreal. In 2007 she completed her BFA at Concordia University where she received drawing awards in 2005. She has exhibited in venues such as Art Mur and most recently Fofa Gallery.
